Gilchrist Logistics, a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground, is actively hiring Delivery Drivers in Alexandria, LA . If you're dependable, ready to work, and can complete the hiring steps quickly, we want to hear from you ASAP. This is a fast-moving hiring process, and qualified applicants can move through screening immediately. Position Details $140 per day starting pay Paid weekly Company-provided delivery vehicle Paid training ($100/day) Monthly safety bonus Health insurance available Growth opportunities No prior delivery experience required — paid training provided. Drivers with experience at Amazon, UPS, DHL, USPS, courier services, furniture delivery, appliance delivery, or other route-based driving roles are strongly encouraged to apply. Job Duties Deliver packages to residential and business customers Operate a company-provided FedEx delivery vehicle Complete assigned route safely and efficiently Handle packages up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs with a dolly Route Expectations 50-60 stops per day 200-250 miles per day 8-9 hour shifts Start time: 8:00 AM Schedule Monday-Friday + every other Saturday Requirements•MUST Meet ALL Qualifications Minimum 21 years old Valid Louisiana Class D Chauffeur's License (REQUIRED) Clean driving record Ability to pass: Background check Drug screen DOT physical Reliable, dependable, and able to work a physically active route
