The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate routes efficiently, and a commitment to safety. If you enjoy driving and interacting with customers, this position is perfect for you. Responsibilities Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured properly. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with route driving and local geography. Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Physical ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
