Job Description

This job position is responsible for the professional, efficient, safe and courteous delivery of products to our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure that all work performed with or for our customers, suppliers and employees is done in a safe, professional, courteous, and timely manner. Work with Distribution Center team to ensure all product is pulled, staged, and verified as indicated by the work order. Verify that staged material is the same material, quantity, and lot number indicated on the bill of lading. Prepare product for shipment according to listed customer requirements. Load and brace material into delivery vehicle in accordance with established Department of Transportation standards. Document and file pre
  • and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicle Deliver products to customers.
Assist in Warehouse duties as directed. Assist in the overall housekeeping and maintenance of buildings and equipment Assist, as directed, in all emergency response operations, including spill clean-up and waste disposal. Work with DC Supervisor for proper fleet upkeep and maintenance. Report any known or suspected safety hazard. All other duties as assigned by management. Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to) Understand and adhere to/follow the department procedures and policies Adhere to and support the principles of Responsible Distribution™. Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience:
3 or more years work experience with job responsibilities similar to or related to the above listed duties and responsibilities. Forklift certification will be handled internally here at the warehouse, but must have prior experience. CDL, Hazmat, or Tanker license required. Valid Driver's License is though along with continuingly being able to pass DOT physical. Be physically able to effectively perform labor intensive activities on a daily basis. Be subject to random drug and alcohol tested as directed by Management. Be able to effectively work in a team-based environment, where all team members hold themselves mutually accountable. Basic reading and writing skills. Must pass a background check along with having a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
