Fuel Oil Delivery Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fuel Oil Delivery Driver and become a vital part of ensuring our customers receive reliable and timely fuel delivery services. We are looking for both full and part time seasonal driver's for November thru March/April. In this energetic role, you will operate various types of trucks to transport fuel oil safely and efficiently to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Responsibilities Follow designated delivery routes accurately while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Assist with vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns immediately. Requirements Valid CDL Class B driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsement, a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred. Proven truck driving experience, especially in commercial driving environments involving route driving and delivery services. Experience with various truck types such as tanker trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to transporting hazardous materials like fuel oil. Physical ability to handle heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
