Job Description

Come Join the Winning Team! Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Swing Delivery Driver to work out of our warehouses in North Reading, MA. This position assists with fulfilling & processing orders, shipping/receiving, inventory, providing support as an alternate delivery driver, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties:
Managing paperwork from customers and vendors Daily deliveries to job sites and supply houses. Loading and unloading trucks Pulling orders and prepping for shipment Receive inventory and store products in designated areas Keep work area clean and orderly Maintain a healthy and safe working environment Operating our delivery trucks safely Perform other related duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a similar work environment preferred Current DOT Medical Card or a CDL are preferred Experience driving a 22' stake body truck in Boston and surrounding areas Clean, driving record Have basic math skills Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and standard forklifts, when needed. Willingness to learn the warehouse products Self-motivated Punctual and courteous Team player mentality a must; communication, collaboration, and motivation to follow through critical. Be able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.
Requirements:
Maintain a valid DOT Medical Card. Must be able to join Local 25 Union.
Days/Shift:
Monday thru Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
