Job Description
We are hiring a reliable, professional, customer-focused Cannabis Delivery Driver to support our Portland medical cannabis operation. This is more than a basic delivery job. You will be trusted to represent our brand, handle regulated products and customer information responsibly, complete deliveries accurately, and support the dispensary during slower delivery periods.
Schedule:
Part-time. Evening and weekend availability is required.Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver medical cannabis orders received through online ordering platforms, including Weedmaps
- Verify orders, customer credentials, identification, payment status, and delivery details according to company compliance procedures
- Handle deliveries, cash, receipts, and customer information securely and professionally
- Communicate with the dispensary team about delivery timing, issues, returns, and customer concerns
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use
- Follow all company procedures, state requirements, privacy expectations, and safety policies
- Assist with order packing, online orders, inventory organization, store cleanliness, and general dispensary support when not actively delivering
- Provide excellent, respectful customer service at every delivery
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Able to obtain and maintain required Maine medical cannabis registry credentials
- Comfortable using navigation apps, smartphones, and delivery/order systems
- Reliable transportation [only include this if using personal vehicles]
- Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and good judgment
- Comfortable handling cash and following detailed security procedures
- Must never use cannabis, alcohol, or any impairing substance while working or operating a vehicle
- Delivery, customer service, retail, hospitality, or cannabis experience is preferred but not required
Pay:
$16.00- $25.
