Delivery Driver

We are looking for a detail oriented, organized, methodical and friendly delivery driver to run deliveries for our farm 2-3 days a week. This a year-round position. There is also the opportunity to take on other responsibilities to make this a full-time position, if that was desirable. Delivery days are Monday and Friday (year-round) and Wednesdays, seasonally (from July - December). Our year-round route runs down the Mid-coast to the Portland area. The Wednesday route is to Northeast Massachusetts and Southeastern New Hampshire. A typical delivery day in the winter months goes from 8-2:30, and in the growing season starts at 6am and wraps up around 4pm.

Responsibilities include:

arriving to work on time wearing clean and presentable attire loading the produce into the delivery vehicle in an organized manner, careful to maintain the integrity of the product handling produce in accordance with food safety guidelines and standards accurately delivering produce invoicing and attaining signatures from customers editing invoices if needed

Requirements:

driver's license required to fulfill job duties clean driving record required to fulfill job duties good organizational skills professional and personable attitude ability to arrive at farm at 6am on delivery days during peak season ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly above your waist ability to use a basic and electric pallet jack preferred: delivery driving experience Compensation starts at $23/hour plus overtime, produce, workers compensation and either a "stay bonus" for part-time employment and PTO for full-time.
