Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver packages along assigned routes. Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques to handle heavy items efficiently. Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures when required, and ensure accurate documentation of all deliveries. Maintain a clean driving record by adhering to traffic laws and company safety policies during route driving. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns promptly. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met before each shift. Follow route plans meticulously to maximize efficiency while maintaining timely deliveries throughout the day. Experience Previous delivery driver experience or courier roles demonstrating familiarity with route driving and package handling. Warehouse experience involving loading, unloading, or moving goods using forklifts or pallet jacks is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities. Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices essential for maintaining a clean driving record.
