Delivery Driver

Job Summary Rowerdink is a leading automotive replacement parts distributor in Michigan and Indiana servicing automotive repair facilities, car dealerships, and fleets. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of merchandise in a safe, prompt, and professional manner. Having a positive impact and ensuring customer satisfaction will be key to your success.

Job Requirements:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Delivery Driver committed to providing exceptional customer service. You should also be highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability maintain professional and cooperative relationships with both customers and colleagues. This job does include the use of a company owned vehicle during work hours.

Additional requirements:

 Current valid driver's license  Clean driving record  Able to meet company insurance requirements  High School diploma or GED  Able to demonstrate ability to drive safe in various road conditions  Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds  Able to use a smartphone, tablet, and desk top computer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :  Pull inventory for delivery  Check accuracy of product to invoice  Load and unload vehicles  Drive vehicle in accordance to local laws and do so safely  Deliver product to multiple customers a day  Collect payment from customers when required  Collect customer returns, cores, and warranties when required  Properly record all payment and return transactions  Perform vehicle maintenance checks as required  Maintain a clean vehicle  Assist in any and all other warehouse duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 Exceptional customer service skills and verbal communication skills  Work with others in a professional manner  Take and follow directions from supervisor and or dispatcher  Be able to read a map and determine a route when route optimization technology or GPS is unavailable.  Accurately perform basic math skills without the aid of a calculator.  Pass an online and or in person aptitude test Benefits Rowerdink Inc. offers well-balanced compensation and benefits programs, which may include medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, profit sharing, paid holidays/vacation/sick time, STD/LTD, + much more.
