Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our Wonolo team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. You'll use your own vehicle to make the deliveries and pick up any return bags/ice packs that customers leave out for recycling. Must be able to lift/move 25-50 lbs Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational efficiency. Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations. You will need to be able to use a smartphone. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Previous experience in route driving or delivery services is advantageous but not mandatory.
