Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Truck Driver (Class A) and take on an exciting role that combines flexibility with the thrill of driving! This position will work 2-3 days per week and work 6-10 hours on each working day depending on the load. It will serve as a casual position where the need will depend on the requirements of the business. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on designated routes. Operate a class 8 tractor with either a single or tandem rear axle. Operate a van trailer of 48-53' in length. Perform pickup and delivery service with a day cab tractor/van trailer or straight box truck. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Execute route driving with a focus on timeliness, safety, and customer satisfaction Qualifications Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with proven experience in truck driving Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently Knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations For part time drivers, we normally reach out the day before to check availability to run a route.
