Furniture Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. You should be reliable, punctual, physically fit, and a team player. Your duties will include loading and unloading various furniture items, assembling and placing items as needed. You should feel comfortable with driving a large truck and know how to interact professionally with customers.

Job duties include:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck to deliver furniture items on a designated route using GPS navigation
• Properly load and protect all furniture items for delivery.
• Notify customers prior to delivery and maintain customer service standards
• Ability to lift heavy furniture and climb stairs
• Assemble, hook up and place furniture items as needed
• Ability to utilize delivery app for electronic proof of deliveries
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining delivery schedule and a professional attitude.
• Address and relay any customer delivery concerns to Delivery Manager
• Follow protocols for maintaining the delivery truck.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Candidate must have a valid State issued Driver's License with a safe, clean driving record; a CDL is Not required.
• Candidate must have a DOT Medical Card
• Candidate must have a minimum 5 years driving experience.
• Candidate must be at least 23 years of age with a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Candidate must be a team player with high integrity who is service oriented and customer focused
• Prior furniture delivery/driver experience a plus.

Full time position with competitive pay. Standard work week is Tuesday through Saturday.

Pay:

Up to $1,200.00 per week
