Job Description
Route Delivery Driver.
Position Description:
Eagle Beverage Distribution is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Route Delivery Driver. The Delivery Driver's focus is to deliver pre-ordered items to our accounts. The average daily workload consists of an estimated 10 to 18 local deliveries to both on premise bars & restaurants as well as off-premise liquor stores & neighborhood markets. This position will run Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday morning route; approximately 40 hours per week. Safe operation of a commercial vehicle and equipment; forklift, hand truck, pallet jack or other moving equipment to load, unload, stock, transport and deliver various items. Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area. Must ensure assigned truck has the proper inventory before leaving and returning to the warehouse, and is accountable for all products and/or monies associated with inventory. Check vehicle fuel and DEF fluid and fill as needed. Ensure that mechanical and safety equipment is in good working order. Complete the assigned route in a safe, accurate and efficient manner in varying weather conditions and challenging environments (i.e., stairs, curbs, docks, tight parking lots). Load and unload trucks, help others with loading/unloading, and secure kegs & cases for transport using tie-downs and load bars. Execute quality of service in accounts. Must follow all warehouse safety guidelines and appropriate laws.Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Class A Drivers License Local delivery experience preferred Excellent communication skills Basic math skills Team Player Must pass physical, drug test & background screen Must possess a clean driving recordPhysical Standards:
