In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and more, ensuring each product arrives safely and is expertly installed. Your mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and customer service skills will shine as you troubleshoot issues on-site, perform repairs when needed, and provide exceptional service. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations. Unload appliances carefully, ensuring no damage occurs during transit or setup. Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications and schematics, including connecting electrical and plumbing components when applicable. Conduct appliance repairs and troubleshooting on-site, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to resolve issues efficiently. Assist customers with appliance assembly, setup, and operational instructions to ensure a smooth transition into their homes. Diagnose mechanical or refrigeration problems using schematics and technical manuals; perform necessary repairs or escalate as needed. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, installations, repairs, and service calls for accurate documentation. Experience Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a focus on refrigeration, HVAC systems, or electrical equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams. Previous delivery driver experience with a clean driving record operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Hands-on experience in field service roles involving appliance installation or equipment repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC principles, and refrigeration components is highly desirable. Ability to work independently in various environments while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
