Job Description:
Local Box Truck Drivers $22 Hourly Pay Approx. 30 Hours Per Week Safely operate a straight truck for local deliveries within Winston Salem and surrounding areas. Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and proper handling of goods. Follow all company policies, procedures, and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Job Requirements:
Valid state-issued driver's license for straight truck operation (CDL Class A not required). Clean driving record with a strong safety mindset. Minimum 1 year of experience driving straight trucks, preferably in a local delivery role. Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment. Prior experience operating a liftgate Strong time management and customer service skills. Knowledge of Winston Salem, Greensboro and surrounding areas is a plus.
Wage Range:
22.00 - 22.00 per hour
