Experienced Furniture Assembly Delivery Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments as needed Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records Experience Proven experience as a furniture assembly/delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities in a commercial setting Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely and efficiently Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading cargo and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving Embark on a rewarding career that keeps you active on the road while delivering value to customers!
