EXPERIENCED FURNITURE DELIVERY TEAM (DRIVER & HELPER)

Job Overview We are seeking experienced and dependable Furniture Delivery Team , including Drivers and Helpers, to join our dynamic delivery operation. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely transporting furniture items to customers' homes, ensuring a positive delivery experience, and assisting with the loading and unloading process. This role requires strong customer service skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and familiarity with commercial driving and warehouse equipment. Both drivers with route driving experience and helpers with moving skills are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload furniture items using appropriate equipment such as shoulder straps or pallet jacks when necessary Assist customers during White Glove and threshold deliveries, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction with 10 out of 10 on each customer survey Properly secure furniture items during transit to prevent damage Navigate routes efficiently, following scheduled delivery times and routes Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch to coordinate deliveries Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and compliance Handle heavy lifting and moving of furniture items, demonstrating physical strength and proper technique Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar route driving role involving furniture or heavy loads for final mile delivery Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles required Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Warehouse experience including familiarity with pallet jacks, or moving equipment is desirable Physical ability to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly throughout the day Experience in heavy lifting, moving, or warehouse operations is advantageous Reliable transportation to reach the warehouse location daily Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Background checks and drug screenings are required.
