Job Description

Furniture Delivery & Installation Specialist Location:
Morganton, NC and surrounding areas
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience) Join Our Team! A Morganton-based interior design and logistics company is seeking a dependable and motivated Furniture Delivery & Installation Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in delivering, handling, assembling, and installing furniture and furnishings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout the Southeast. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to transport furniture, fixtures, and design products. Load, unload, secure, and protect merchandise during transportation. Deliver and professionally install furniture, artwork, accessories, and related items. Assemble furniture and perform basic installation tasks on-site. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory records. Inspect products for damage and report issues promptly. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professionalism on job sites. Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and receiving. Work closely with designers, project managers, and logistics staff to ensure successful project completion. Travel as needed for project installations; occasional overnight stays are required. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely and confidently operate a box truck. Experience in furniture delivery, installation, moving, warehousing, or logistics preferred. Ability to lift and move furniture weighing 75+ pounds, with team assistance when necessary. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Experience using hand tools, power tools, performing minor maintenance, and furniture assembly is preferred. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when project schedules require.
