Rocky Mount, NC Join the Ground Floor of a Growing Company Pine Ridge Buildings is a new portable building manufacturer with an established dealer network and aggressive growth plans throughout North Carolina and surrounding markets. We are looking for an experienced Shed Delivery Driver to become the first dedicated delivery driver on our team. This is a unique opportunity to help build a company from the beginning, work with brand-new equipment, and play a key role in delivering a great customer experience. Position Summary The Shed Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and setting portable buildings at customer homes, dealer lots, and company locations. This position requires experience hauling and placing portable buildings and the ability to navigate a variety of delivery conditions while maintaining professionalism and safety. Equipment Provided Dodge Ram 4500 truck Pine Hill gooseneck shed-hauling trailer 524 Mule Series remote-controlled shed mover Additional delivery and setup equipment as needed Responsibilities Transport portable buildings from our manufacturing facility to customer locations and dealer lots Safely maneuver and place buildings in customer yards using specialized equipment Operate shed-moving equipment, trailers, and trucks safely and efficiently Inspect loads and secure buildings properly before transport Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries Evaluate delivery sites and determine the safest placement strategy Complete delivery documentation and required inspections Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance concerns Represent Pine Ridge Buildings in a professional manner at all times Qualifications Previous portable building/shed delivery experience required Experience hauling and placing sheds in residential settings Strong backing, towing, and trailer-handling skills Ability to problem-solve and adapt to challenging delivery situations Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong customer service and communication skills CDL Requirements CDL preferred Candidates without a CDL may be considered if they have significant shed-hauling experience Pine Ridge Buildings is willing to assist the right candidate in obtaining a CDL after employment Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience (negotiable) Paid overtime opportunities Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunity for advancement as the company grows Work with brand-new trucks, trailers, and equipment Why Pine Ridge Buildings?
