Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team as a (1099). The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and installing appliances to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, contributing to our overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods and install them in the customers home and or business without any damage to designated locations. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage. Utilize equipment such as hand trucks for moving heavy loads when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery interaction, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading of deliveries. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with loading and unloading procedures. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
