Weekly compensation will be discussed at interview. Duties Safely operate various commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated box trucks, and other freight carriers. Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as handtrucks and pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of freight. Navigate assigned routes confidently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure on-time deliveries. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety standards are met before each journey. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs for route driving, load details, and delivery confirmations when required. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes. Assist with vehicle maintenance reports and coordinate repairs when needed to keep fleet operational. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving with a focus on route management and cargo handling. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to operate trucks confidently and handle various vehicle types such as refrigerated box trucks. Skilled in load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods; familiar with freight handling best practices. Ability to lift boxes that could weigh 80 pounds if necessary. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries. Physical stamina to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Ability to lift boxes that could weigh 80 pounds if necessary. Valid driver's license (CDL A or B preferred but not required) .
