Delivery Driver / Warehouse Anchor Beverage Company La Vista, NE Job Details Full-time From $21 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Hand trucks Outdoor work Merchandising Driver's License Warehouse cleanliness Dollies Picking & packing Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Growing local wine and spirits distribution company has an opening for a full time hourly delivery and warehouse position. Approximately 30-40 hours per week to start, Monday through Friday. This is a daytime position. Essential duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drives company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customers (no CDL required, Greater Omaha area only)
- Picks and assembles orders from the warehouse and loads the vehicle for deliveries
- Stocks items in the warehouse when received
- Collects signed invoices from customers and returns them to the warehouse/office in good order
- Merchandises products in some retail accounts at time of delivery To perform the job successfully, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Accuracy and thoroughness-Friendly and helpful customer service skills
- Dependability and punctuality Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 21 years of age per State of Nebraska law for this position
- Must hold and sustain a valid driver's license and be insurable by company standards
- Must be able to pass a criminal background screening by company standards
- Must be able to lift and carry parcels up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a two-wheel cart containing up to 120 lbs., sometimes up and down stairs
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor elements (heat, cold, rain, snow, ice, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space This is an excellent ground floor opportunity with potential for advancement.
