Job Description

Drive Fuel Transport Trucks (single axle, dual axle, and bobtail) safely and efficiently, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures to deliver product to residential and commercial customers. Meet or exceed Driver Performance targets on Speed Management, Product Handling Incidents, etc. Review and plan daily route. Load truck with required product while adhering to all safety policies and procedures at loading site/bulk plant. Maintain strong working relationship with Dispatch team to constructively adjust and manage plan to build efficiencies into route and delivery order. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck is performing to required standards. Identify opportunities to handle minor mechanical issues. Maintain accurate processes and paperwork to ensure proper workflow and billing information. Manage Bill of Sales, Declining Balance, Tickets, etc. Follow all loading and off-loading procedures & processes at terminals and customer sites. Demonstrate familiarity with current customers and services to ensure flawless customer servicing and achieve customer satisfaction scores. Follows up appropriately and seeks opportunities to gain new customers. Ensure and maintain safe working environment according to safety policies and procedures including Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG). Report all hazards, unsafe situations (sites), required repairs (equipment), and incidents (injuries, spills, property damage, etc.) Support team, business, and brand by taking additional workflow when available, remaining current on company information, and maintaining high personal and truck appearance standards.
