Delivery Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during interactions with clients. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading products, maintaining the delivery vehicle, and adhering to all safety regulations. Duties Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during transport. Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience operating commercial vehicles, particularly box trucks, is highly desirable. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics operations. Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous but not required; training may be provided.
