In this role, you will be the friendly face and reliable driver responsible for delivering furniture and large items safely and efficiently to customers' homes or business locations. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, secure, and unload furniture using equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques Deliver furniture items directly to customers' locations, providing professional and courteous customer service throughout each interaction Navigate route driving efficiently, managing schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards Assist with moving furniture within customer homes or businesses, including heavy lifting and maneuvering large items through tight spaces Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of loads, unloads, and route details Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with furniture or heavy goods Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and equipment use Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred Familiarity with forklift operation or pallet jack use is advantageous but not mandatory—training can be provided Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Experience operating vehicles with manual transmissions is desirable Join us as a Furniture Delivery Personnel if you thrive in active roles that combine driving, physical work, and customer interaction!
