Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Shop Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within the shop environment, support daily operations and pick up and deliver materials. Responsibilities
  • Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials
  • Assist with loading and unloading items
  • Operate manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks for deliveries
  • Drive to local suppliers to retrieve lumber, sheet goods, and shop supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop and warehouse Experience
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver, box truck driver, or material handler similar role preferred
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving history (CDL not required, but experience driving a [insert truck size, e.g., 16-foot box truck] is preferred).
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles like box trucks
  • Capability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently Candidate
  • Should be reliable, dependable and accountable
  • Should work well with others Regular overtime available
