Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Local Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face delivering goods directly to customers' doors, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us build lasting relationships with clients and keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to complete local deliveries along designated routes Load, unload, and secure cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Assist with heavy lifting and moving items to ensure safe handling of goods during loading and delivery Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon delivery Follow route plans efficiently, adhering to schedules while maintaining safety standards on the road Verify delivery details, obtain signatures or proof of delivery, and complete all required documentation accurately Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation of manual transmission trucks Experience Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred, especially with route driving in a local setting Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is advantageous but not mandatory for all roles Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving items, and vehicle operation Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously in diverse situations Join us as a vital part of our team where your driving skills and dedication will make a real difference!
