Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards Assist with merchandising by organizing products on delivery vehicles and ensuring proper placement at customer sites Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate Perform heavy lifting as needed to load and unload deliveries, ensuring items are handled with care and safety is maintained Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pricing details, and route logs for accountability and reporting purposes Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Skills Strong driving skills with experience in commercial driving environments; a clean driving record is essential Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members Basic math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and sales transactions accurately Ability to upsell products or services naturally during customer interactions to enhance sales opportunities Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently, prioritize deliveries, and keep accurate records Knowledge of merchandising techniques to present products attractively at delivery points Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and the stamina to remain active throughout shifts Familiarity with route driving technology or GPS systems for navigation purposes Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and teamwork Must be able to lift 55 lbs Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
