Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Manage delivery schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals at each destination Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide excellent service Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper techniques to prevent injury Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation for each trip Organize merchandise on delivery vehicles for optimal space utilization and quick unloading at destinations Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent driving certification with a clean driving record Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and route planning Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred; military driving experience is a plus Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and paperwork effectively Knowledge of merchandising practices and basic sales techniques to promote products when appropriate Familiarity with route planning software or navigation tools for efficient driving routes Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your driving expertise fuels success!
