This is not a drop-and-go delivery job. You'll be the face of Franco Bread on your route, responsible for deliveries, merchandising, and growing sales at your accounts. Drivers who take ownership see that effort directly in their paycheck through our commission structure, with top performers clearing $62,000 or more annually. What You'll Earn Your base salary is $50,000 ($961.53/week). On top of that, maintaining your route's prior year sales volume earns approximately $12,000 annually in commission — and once you grow sales beyond the prior year plan, you earn 9% on every dollar of growth above that. It's a structure that rewards the drivers who show up and put in the work. Your Schedule You'll work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with Wednesday and Sunday off every week, year-round. Start time is 4:00 am, with most drivers wrapping up by early afternoon depending on the route. Is This You? The drivers who thrive here are self-starters who like working independently, take pride in their accounts, and don't mind being up early to get ahead of the day. You should be comfortable driving in all conditions — including mountain roads and heavy Tahoe-area snow — and genuinely enjoy the customer-facing side of the job. If you need a 9-to-5 or prefer minimal customer interaction, this probably isn't the right fit. Requirements You must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license and clean record (no DUIs). We require at least 2 years of box truck driving experience including mountain and snow conditions, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and walk around 5 miles per shift. English communication is required for daily interaction with store staff and customers. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage kicks in after 60 days, with the company covering 50% for the employee. You'll earn 40 hours of paid time off after 90 days, holiday pay after 60 days, and become eligible for our 401(k) with a 3% company match after one year.
