Customer Focused Delivery Driver

We are a locally owned and operated wholesale food and beverage supplier working with the hospitality and related industries within North & West Auckland. We are looking for a reliable delivery driver that understands the meaning of "Customer Service". You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their deliveries in full, on time and to the expected standards. Since you will be actively involved in interacting with our customers, it is of great importance that you possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. The responsibilities of this position include: Driving a class 2 truck and delivery of freight to food service customers. This will be Monday to Friday - Saturdays optional. Occasionally loading trucks Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety policies To be successful in this role you will need: Full clean class 2 license. Ability to work well with a team. Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Flexible, with a quick and alert mind, with the ability to adapt and willing to change hours when required. Good attention to detail and accurate Well, presented and professional. A positive work ethic and attitude Good communication and customer service skills Good physical fitness as there is a lot of heavy lifting involved.
