Full Job Description Position :

Cannabis Dispensary Delivery Driver•Amherst & Grand Island Reports to : General Manager The Cannabis Dispensary Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, secure, and compliant transportation of cannabis products from a licensed dispensary to customer residences or, in some cases, other licensed facilities. This role acts as the "face" of the dispensary, requiring excellent customer service, strict adherence to state and local regulations (such as ID verification), and careful handling of cash or electronic payments. This position may also require budtending responsibilities (when not making deliveries). We have two different locations (Amherst, NY & Grand Island, NY) to choose from!

Key Responsibilities Safe Delivery & Transport:

Safely operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle to deliver cannabis products in a timely manner.

Compliance & ID Verification:

Verify customer identification (21+) and age eligibility upon delivery, strictly adhering to state and local cannabis regulations.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including manifests, chain-of-custody documents, and digital records of transactions.

Customer Service:

Provide professional, friendly service, acting as a company brand ambassador.

Payment Handling:

Securely handle cash, process electronic payments, and manage electronic signatures, often using specialized apps.

Inventory Security:

Responsible for loading, securing, and unloading products at the start and end of shifts.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct pre•and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is clean and well-maintained. Communicate any issues with management.

Communication:

Coordinate with dispatchers or dispensary managers regarding routes, delays, or issue.

Budtending Duties:

assisting customers, recommending products, and ensuring a positive and informative experience for all patrons. You must be passionate about the cannabis industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing outstanding customer service. Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements Age:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Experience:

1-2+ years of delivery, courier, or customer service experience preferred.

Cannabis Knowledge:

Familiarity with cannabis products and industry regulations is a plus, though not always required.

Technology Skills:

Proficiency with GPS navigation apps (e.g., Waze, Google Maps) and Point-of-Sale (POS) or delivery software.

Physical Ability:

Ability to lift 50+ lbs., and frequently sit, stand, bend, and walk.

Typical Work Environment Schedule:

Full-time or part-time, often including evenings and weekends.

Setting:

Working out of a dispensary or warehouse setting; driving (making local deliveries).

Compensation:
