Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations efficiently. Deliver appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household equipment while maintaining a focus on safety and timeliness. Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications, schematics, and technical manuals, ensuring proper setup and functionality. Conduct basic appliance repairs or troubleshooting on-site when necessary, including electrical or mechanical issues. Use mechanical knowledge to assemble appliances and connect electrical or plumbing components as required. Interact professionally with customers, providing clear instructions on appliance operation and addressing any questions or concerns. Complete detailed delivery logs, installation reports, and service documentation accurately for each job performed. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in appliance repair, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, and equipment repair. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for installation and troubleshooting purposes. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions and ensure customer satisfaction. Field service experience in appliance installation or service technician roles is highly desirable. Basic assembly skills for appliances and related equipment.
