Contract Delivery Driver 1099 FreshFix Buffalo, NY Job Details Contract $75 - $120 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Refrigerated trailer Produce Cold chain logistics Driver's License Attention to detail Perishable goods management Temperature control Mobile devices Full Job Description FreshFix LLC FreshFix is seeking a reliable independent delivery driver to service weekly routes across Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties, including Jamestown, Olean, Dunkirk/Fredonia, and surrounding rural areas.

Jamestown, Olean, Dunkirk/Fredonia, and nearby towns

Current Volume:

~500 boxes per month (~120-150 per week) Growing program with expected increase in volume over time

Product Type:

Perishable food (produce + refrigerated items) Delivery Details Boxes are 16" x 16" x 16", ~30 lbs each Many deliveries include multiple boxes per stop Temperature-sensitive handling required Strict adherence to delivery instructions is critical All routes are fully optimized and assigned through the Delivery Biz Pro (DBP) app — drivers are expected to follow routing and complete deliveries as scheduled. Vehicle Requirements Cargo van or vehicle with ability to tow a trailer required Refrigerated (reefer) vehicles strongly preferred Non-refrigerated vans must be equipped to maintain safe temperatures (coolers/insulation) Priority given to drivers with refrigerated vans Compensation $10 per box for first box at each household $5 for each additional box delivered to the same household Compensation contingent on completed delivery (can be shown with photo) Typical routes include multi-box stops, increasing earning potential Consistent weekly volume with high earning potential Responsibilities Follow DBP routing and complete deliveries in assigned order Accurately follow all customer delivery instructions Handle perishable products safely and on schedule Complete all deliveries same day unless otherwise directed Provide proof of delivery using the app Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift and carry ~30 lb boxes repeatedly Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Smartphone required for routing and delivery tracking Comfortable working independently Preferred Experience Route delivery experience (FedEx, Amazon, food distribution, etc.) Familiarity with rural Western NY routes Position Type 1099 Independent Contractor Part-time with consistent weekly routes Currently deliveries take place on Thursdays and Fridays Opportunity to grow with the route as volume increases To Apply E-mail resume/qualifications explaining delivery experience and vehicle details (note if refrigerated) to Michael Occhipinti at the following information: Include Name + contact info
