Delivery Driver (Part Time, Flexible Schedule)

For the Maintenance Driver, this means delivering products safely, on time, and in excellent condition while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor, following all company driving safety guidelines, and representing Adams positively during every customer interaction.

Your Day-to-Day Ensure customers receive the best service by being friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and thanking them for shopping at Adams.

Deliver merchandise to homes or businesses on time, in good condition, and according to department requirements.

Coordinate and communicate delivery routes, calling customers prior to delivery to confirm time and providing updates if requested.

Record delivery times, note where items were left, and return tickets to the appropriate department.

Maintain a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and pass required and random drug tests.

Keep a cell phone on and accessible at all times during shifts for store communication.

Complete all scheduled deliveries before going home, including nursery material if assigned.

Provide personable and professional interaction with customers at every delivery.

The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, training, certifications and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $18.00 - $24.00. At Adams, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
