THE MISSION

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Route Delivery Driver dispatches daily and ensures safe, accurate and efficient transportation of Gallagher Tire, Inc. product and service offerings to a wide range of dealer partners within the company's geographic delivery footprint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safe and timely transportation of products assigned to designated routes Learn and utilize all company technology associated with routing and order delivery Maintain clean and organized proof of delivery records per route Ensure delivery location and item accuracy Efficient recovery of return items when necessary Maintain clean and organized assigned delivery vehicle Professional, courteous interaction with dealer-partners

KEY REQUIREMENTS & ATTRIBUTES

Minimum one to three years' DOT-certified driving experience Air-brake vehicle operations experience Must be at least 21 years old Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record Able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening Able to successfully pass US DOT physical and secure certification (company funded) Consent to motor vehicle records and criminal background search Be physically fit to a degree you can lift and maneuver various items for delivery without difficulty (in some cases, item weight greater than 50 lbs.) Value customer service Able to function in a fast-paced environment Exhibits strong attention to detail, initiative, critical thinking, and leadership skills
