  • Full-time Delivery Driver JAR Metals JAR Metals is seeking a safe, dependable Delivery Driver to transport gutter, roofing, and sheet metal materials throughout the Hudson Valley, Westchester County, Connecticut, and surrounding areas.
This position is responsible for making timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and ensuring materials arrive safely and accurately. Responsibilities Deliver roofing, gutter, and sheet metal materials to job sites and customers Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely Inspect deliveries for accuracy before leaving the warehouse Maintain delivery schedules and communicate with customers as needed Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Represent JAR Metals professionally at customer locations Assist with warehouse and yard operations when deliveries are complete Requirements Clean driving record Experience operating box trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles Ability to safely load and unload building materials Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Positive attitude and commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications CDL license (not required) Experience in the roofing, gutter, sheet metal, or building materials industry Forklift experience Familiarity with the Hudson Valley, Westchester, and Connecticut service areas What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, year-round employment Local delivery routes with home-daily schedule Opportunities for growth within a growing company If you're a reliable driver who takes pride in safety, customer service, and getting the job done right, we'd love to hear from you.
