FedEx Delivery Driver

We are hiring immediate full time delivery drivers for Fed Ex Ground Packages, this position reports to the FedEx terminal in East Greenbush. Must be able to work minimum 5 days a week Drivers use our step vans ranging from 12 ft to 16 ft in length. Must be able to lift and handle packages weighing up to 150 pounds. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to pass a Drug Test ( MARIJUANA included). Must be able to pass a MVR check & DOT physical. Must be able to pass a full background security check. Delivery Experience is Required Summary As a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely transporting packages to their destinations. With core skills in delivery driver experience, driving, and heavy lifting, you will ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Your premium skills in customer service, warehouse experience, and commercial driving will enhance the overall customer experience and operational efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills and route driving will contribute to the smooth execution of daily delivery routes. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety. Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize forklifts and other equipment to facilitate efficient loading and unloading processes.
