The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations. Assist with moving items as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed for heavy lifting. Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to optimize delivery routes. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in customer service is preferred. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Previous experience as a courier or van driver is advantageous. Knowledge of using forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
