Wholesale Delivery Driver

We at Canal Fulton Provisions are actively looking to add multiple drivers to support our growth into several ventures of expansion. We encourage those interested in joining our team to submit their applications and, as expansion occurs, we will regularly consult the submitted applications to fill our roster.

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and ensure that all required documentation is complete
• Minimal cash handling with payment collection in the form of cash, check, or properly signed invoices.
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and provide exceptional customer service
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times while driving
• Assist others in end-of-day daily sanitization of production areas and waste removal

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required
• Familiarity with different types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks, tractor-trailers, or couriers
