Homecare Delivery Install Technician

As a Homecare Delivery Install Technician, you are responsible for transporting and retrieving respiratory therapy medical supplies to/from the homes of Cleveland Clinic patients, including oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders and aerosol compressors. You will also provide instructions on the operation, cleaning and safety of each piece of equipment, ensuring both patients and their supports feel comfortable handling their own care. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and will be on rotation for weekends. Every 6 weeks, on-call will be required. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Perform pre-delivery quality assurance testing and assessment of all equipment. Perform delivery, set up and pick up of home medical equipment. Provide initial product safety and set up information to all new patients in verbal and written form. Provide initial safety assessment of the home environment. Communicate pertinent information to team members. Store supplies and equipment on vehicles securely and safely according to DOT, OSHA, TJC and other regulatory groups. Handle hazardous material safely according to FDA regulations. Maintain delivery vehicle safety, efficiency and cleanliness. Provide ongoing scheduled maintenance of equipment according to guidelines. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High School Diploma/GED Valid Driver's License (VDL) with a good driving record and insurance eligibility as determined by requirements to operate Foundation vehicles Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of experience in a related specialty or home care business Any kind of prior hospital experience

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 75 pounds, load and unload trucks, sit or stand for the majority of a workday, bend kneel or crouch to set up and move equipment and use 2 wheeler safely.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range Minimum hourly:

$17.25 Maximum hourly: $26.31 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
