Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Duties Safely operate a flat bed truck to transport pallets and crates to designated locations. Follow assigned routes and schedules, making timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks when necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices is essential. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicle. Previous experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is beneficial. A valid driver's license with a Class A endorsement, along with a clean friving record is required.
