Furniture Delivery Driver

Furniture Delivery Driver Don's E-Z Pay, Inc. Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods, maintaining delivery schedules, and providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. Ensure timely delivery of items while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Assist with moving items within the warehouse or distribution center as required. Requirements Valid driver's license and DOT health card with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Experience operating delivery vehicles; familiarity with van driving is a plus. Knowledge of safe driving practices and ability to navigate using GPS or maps. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients. Previous experience as a courier or in a similar delivery role is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary.
