In this vital role, you will support pharmacy operations within our retail pharmacy to help ensure seamless medication management and exceptional patient service. Your expertise in medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and pharmacy procedures will contribute to safe and efficient medication dispensing, patient intake, and medication administration processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your pharmacy skills while making a positive impact on patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assist pharmacy staff with job flow by helping with prescription pickups, stocking products, answering calls, maintaining the front retail area, and helping facilitate deliveries and pickups. Manage patient intake processes by verifying information, updating records, and ensuring accurate documentation Support medication inventory management by receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and facilitating smooth medication pickup, mailout, or deliveries. Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols related to critical care and acute care settings Perform routine tasks such as data entry, label printing, and order processing with precision and attention to detail Adhere to all safety standards related to medical terminology, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety Experience Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration procedures is essential. Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows, intake procedures, and patient service protocols is necessary Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy Prior experience supporting pharmacy operations involving medication inventory management or hospital pharmacy systems is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their pharmacy expertise in a collaborative healthcare environment.
