Delivery Driver

Joseph Machine Company is seeking a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to support local and regional deliveries of machine parts, materials, and equipment. This position requires a safety-focused individual with the ability to operate a 30' box truck with a manual transmission. Hours will vary based on business needs but are typically 3 days per week, averaging 4-5 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 30' manual transmission box truck for deliveries and pickups Transport machine parts, materials, and supplies to vendors, customers, and job sites Load and unload materials as needed Verify deliveries and pickups against packing slips or purchase orders Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Maintain a clean and organized truck Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments Assist with miscellaneous shop or warehouse tasks when not driving

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to drive a manual transmission required Experience operating box trucks preferred Ability to safely load, secure, and transport materials Strong reliability and punctuality Good communication and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Forklift experience is a plus

Schedule:

PartTime Position Typically 3 days per week Average 45 hours per day Hours may vary based on delivery schedule and company needs

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift Ability to enter and exit truck cab frequently Ability to safely handle materials and deliveries in various weather conditions

Work Environment:
