FedEx Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are looking for Delivery Drivers that are reliable, highly motivated and have good morale to join our team. Watson Delivery Inc. is a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground. We are very committed to have a positive and supportive work environment working towards a path to success.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a company-provided van or truck on a designated route Load and unload packages from the vehicle efficiently sort them for delivery Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure proper documentation for each shipment Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies and DOT regulations during route driving Plan and follow route plans in a timely manner Perform Pre and post trips vehicle inspection daily and report any maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age Must possess a valid drivers licenses with a clean driving record Must be able to pass a background and drug screening Physical stamina for heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and extended periods of moving around Familiarity with warehouse operations and moving packages efficiently Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely Knowledge of route driving best practices to optimize delivery times and efficiency Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to navigate using a GPS or other navigation system

Job Types:

$18.00 - $18.50 per hour
