Duties Safely operate truck and trailer to pick up and deliver donations, merchandise, and supplies. Plan efficient routes for daily deliveries and pickups, adjusting as needed for traffic or schedule changes. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with donors, customers, and store staff during deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse organization by moving items within the facility using manual lifting techniques or equipment. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role with a focus on route driving and customer interaction. Strong knowledge of driving safety regulations and the ability to maneuver a trailer Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy lifting techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and plan efficient delivery routes. Physical stamina for manual lifting, at least 50 lbs, moving heavy items safely, and standing or walking for extended periods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
