The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various customer locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Once arriving upon these locations driver may also be required to assemble furniture in customer homes. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, experience with furniture assembly, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. If you are passionate about driving and enjoy working independently, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and pallet jacks, to transport goods to designated locations. Follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining customer signatures through our in house app. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and assembling their items efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Report any issues or delays in deliveries promptly to management. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver with a strong understanding of route driving. Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. Experience with loading and unloading goods using pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients while assembling items. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
