Delivery Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to residential and commercial locations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of all items. Follow designated routes accurately and efficiently, adjusting for traffic or route changes as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their delivery needs are met with care. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery. Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and documentation to ensure smooth operations and accountability. Experience Prior delivery driver experience with a proven track record of safe driving and reliable service. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting, moving inventory, and using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols related to commercial driving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items regularly throughout the shift.
