Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Manage delivery schedules efficiently by planning optimal routes using route driving skills to maximize productivity. Engage with customers courteously, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to ensure safety and efficiency during loading and unloading. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including receipts, logs, and pricing details, ensuring all records are complete and organized. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record; familiarity with route driving is essential. Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory management. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing physical demands of the role. Knowledge of merchandising techniques to organize deliveries attractively upon arrival. Organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries efficiently within tight timeframes. Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and strong work ethic.
